About BUCCAL-PEP:
Join the BUCCAL-PEP consortium, a collaborative effort with seven partners across Europe. We’re developing a multifunctional biomaterial patch for the first-ever delivery of peptide therapies across the cheek (buccal), revolutionizing treatment options for Type 2 diabetic patients and addressing a significant healthcare need.

Responsibilities:
-Design and evaluate mechanistic pre-clinical in vitro and in vivo models.
-Study the absorption of a GLP-1 analogue following buccal and oral administration.
-Collaborate closely with R&ED at Novo Nordisk and BUCCAL-PEP consortium partners.

Qualifications:
-Relevant Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or a related field.
-Hands-on experience in advanced in vitro release and permeation techniques.
-Knowledge of preclinical in vivo models (rodents, dogs, and/or pigs).
-Expertise in in vitro/in vivo correlation (IVIVC) and modeling.
-Basic skills in chromatography and drug analysis (advantageous).
-Excellent written and spoken English is a must.
